RyderDocument FAQ Screen
This screen will answer some of the more frequent questions for Ryder Documents.
User: I click on an image icon and a Oracle web site is displayed.
Answer: Once your VipTiffPrint.dll is register, verify your Internet "Compatibility View Settings" is set correctly.
From your Web browser select "Tools" and then "Compatibility View settings". A popup window Compatibility View
Settings screen will be displayed. In the text box under "Add this website:" enter "Ryder.com" and click the
"Add" button.
User: I click on an image icon, and a popup is displayed asking "Do you want to run this application?" is displayed.
Answer: This popup might display first time you are trying to access an image. Check the checkbox for Do not show this again
for apps from the publisher and location above and click the "Run" button.
User: I close an image, and a popup Security Warning is displayed.
Answer: This web site is requesting access and control of Java application. Check the checkbox for Do not show this
again for this app and web site and click the "Allow" button.
User: How do I find "Compatibility View Settings" in the Internet?
Answer: Make sure Menu bar is displayed. If not right click top portion of the screen and set the check box for Menu bar.
Click Tools from the menu and then click Compatibility View Settings to display popup window.
User: How do I save a Query?
Answer: Once search results are displayed, you can save your query by selecting the Save Query icon. Click this icon
and a popup window "Save Query" is displayed. Type in a meaningful query name and press the "Save Query" button. You will
have to refresh your screen to see the saved query name displayed under the Save queries folder.
User: How do I save an Image file?
Answer: Once an image is displayed, you can save the image by selecting "File" and then clicking on "Save As Image ...". A
popup window "Save As Image" is displayed. Under "Choose save file:" enter the path and object name where you would like
to save the file. For example "C:\Temp\NewFile1". Then from the "Choose the image format for saving:" select the format
you would like to save the image in. Please use TIFF Group 4(*.tif) when saving the image unless you need PDF file.
